Before you know it...she won't need the push mower...I have to help her steer, but she is a little speed racer.

Just Chillin'
This past weekend, I decided to be selfish and hord Madi all to myself. We had so much fun. We went through so many clothes because we kept getting dirty - crawling and playing outside in the sun.
We went walks and enjoyed the sun....Madi, just kicked back and enjoyed. THis kid cracks me up. She walks all by herself with a push behing toy mower, but hasn't mustard the courage to let go and try a solo walk. But she gets braver and braver every day. She finally has a tooth breaking through. Of coarse, that mean the past week has been very hard for Jason and I. She won't let us see it, but I can feel it. Wish us luck
We got to enjoy Daddy on Sunday too. Every meal this weekend was BBQ'd - thank heavens for warm weather. Tuesday, April 22, 2008
Here are some snapshots from our time with my family in Idaho. Here is Andrew. He loves the camera. He especially loved our digial camera because he could see the picture right away.. he'd say "I see" "I see"
Isn't he so cute.
Here we are walking on the 5K race for the cure. Man was it cold out there.
Nonna was in High heaven, she got to spend time with her grandbabies. Alethia and Dan's house is so great. I can't believe the amazing potential this place has and the upgrades they have done look fantastic.Madilyn and Daniel were blowing kisses to each other. We all thought it was cute. I thought we could share it.
5K Breastcancer run in Spokane Via Caldwell, ID
As many of you know Jason and I signed up for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, raising money for breastcancer issues. Between Jason and I we raised $150 and our team Dream Dinners raised over $1900. THank you so much to all of you who donated. I also scheduled myself for a family trip to Caldwell Idaho with my mom and Nicky to visit my sister Alethia, Dan and Andrew. I decided to combine the two. I went to Idaho and then on Sunday morning, I drug my family out to a track field and we did the race. It was a bit anti-climatic, but I didn't want to let down my pledges and keep my promise to race. Jason raced in Spokane. He ran the whole thing and did it in 33 minutes. We are sure proud of him. Although Jay and I didn't make our funraising goal of $250, but we will still have a BBQ when the weather warms up.
After the run/walk we went for pizza and a yummy little place. I think we wore the kids out.Sunday, April 6, 2008

Today's update
We'll have have had a busy week. I made curtains for the kitchenwith my mom on Saturday. Hmmm, I tried out for Deal or No Deal on Tuesday. When I got there and saw how many people were there and that I would have to wait inthe snow....I thought....ummm - NO!! and I left. IT would be so exciting, but I knew I didn't have a "Gimmick" that would get me there. I don't feel bad about it at all. Actually, it was kind of a fortunate thing that I didn't go. Madilyn wasn't feeling well so we kept her home. She was up crying at 1 am because she didn't feel well. Yesterday, she was really sick. She had a temp of 103 and was just a limp noodle in my arms. I gave her a bath later the night to cool her off and clean her up. I saw she had bumps and a rash on her body. We kept her home today and Jason stayed with her. He says her fever is gone and the bumps are less prominant. We think is was something called Rosela or somethng like that. But she is on the mend and will back to her happy smiley self in no time.
Jason and I walked 5K the other day and last night i used our bowflex (on loan to us from Steve and Mary) and then I rode our exercise bike for 25 minutes. It's not too much in the long run, but it is 2 consecutive days I didn't something. I'll try and post some pictures of us. Toodles....
Oh yea, check out COlt on Cares blog... he has a tooth. Way to go Colt! AND Mae has a new swimsuit - very exciting for a little girl ;-)
