I had another Dr appointment on friday....no changes - a week og contractions and no changes!!!! Still 1 cm dialated. I have had some requests for a pic of me so here you go. It is not great...but i think you get the "picture" (no pun intended). I have another appointment next Monday. i will let you how that one goes.

Baby Boy update

I had a Dr. Appointment on Friday 2/12. THis little guy is weighing in at 5 lbs 11 ounces and is looking strong. I am 1cm dialated and have been having tons of contractions, some are painful. some are not. I feel like my tummy is getting smaller...but I think he is getting situated low and farther into my body in preparation for arrival. I have another appointment tomorrow at lunchtime. We will see if all these contractions have made any progress. I will let you know how that goes.
We have had some inquiries about a baby shower. We have decided not to have a baby shower...but instead a "meet n' greet" after he comes. We will have a BBQ and invite peoples to come visit and meet our son. I still can't believe it....I am having a son. Gifts are always welcome ;-) at anytime.
We are saving up for a double jogger stroller (I want to run the Spokane half-marathon in October) and diapers are alway appreciated. Thank you all for wanting to celebrate this little guys life.

We have been busy just living. We are getting ready for the baby to come. Madi knows she is going to be a big sister and knows that "brother" will be here soon. We don't have a name picked out yet. We have it narrowed down, but we will wait to meet him to decide on his name.

In the mean time, we have been getting the house ready. Madi has been helping me "nest" and get out all the baby bottles and toys, stocking up on supplies, etc. Here she thought the groceries in the pantry would best go into her shopping cart then onto the back porch. The sun was shining and it was so warm....i just let her empty the canned goods and organize them on the porch.

This child never ceases to amaze me. She is incredibly smart and funny....and zainy. Usually we let her pick out her clothes and everyone can attest to....she has her own "Funky style". In this picture she felt a head band was in order...but not worn traditionally...worn in the Madi way.

She will not let us pull her hair back in a pony tail and rarely will she let clips stay in . But she is alway full of smiles.

One of her favorite foods is toast with Jam....but is can be a dangerous food too.....

All in all we are doing great and just living the crazy life.
